Video: Neil Lennon’s Mainstream Media Conference – We are a Shambles, Mr McKay

Here is Neil Lennon’s Mainstream Media conference from today – the Celtic fans media was completely excluded in case you are wondering. You wonder what the former Communications professional Dominic Mckay makes of all of this – presumably he’s checking everything that’s going on out and we noticed that he’s been looking at a few of The Celtic Star guys profiles on LinkedIn over the weekend.

Neil Lennon talks about the game at Kilmarnock, transfer matters with news on players coming and going and nearer the end talks about his own position at the club, seemingly somewhat surprised why one of the hacks could even ask a question about his future. It’s incredible really.

Meanwhile the Celtic Board promised a January review and failed to deliver on that. You can’t say that the Celtic support weren’t patient. We waited, and we waited and we waited….then we waited some more. So we waited. And we waited. We are still waiting – all the way to Non-Renewal Day, Mr McKay.

Now it looks like some kind of alternative reality has set in at Celtic – we are a club in denial run by a stale, ageing board of directors who have lost touch with the supporters, 60,000 of whom funded the club to the tune of around £36 million to watch a delayed stream presented by Gerry McCulloch with commentary from Peter Martin. With Neil Lennon still in the dug-out.

We are a Shambles, Mr Mckay. Watch and weep…
