It’s Rodgers v Gerrard…but why?

Here is a question for you and your readers…

Why has Steven Gerrard decided to go head to head with Brendan Rodgers?

My take is that Gerrard dislikes Rodgers- I don’t know why? It could be personal or he blames Rodgers for his slip against Chelsea and he was so desperate to be the Captain of a Liverpool side that won the EPL.

Gerrard stated recently that Brendan Rodgers sent Liverpool into that game with too much confidence.

There is a lot more to the Gerrard appointment that still has to be uncovered.

It is set to be a very interesting season, if Gerrard lasts that long.
