It was a day of celebration for Celtic today. Whilst the team scored three goals against Clyde at Broadwood, there were also three birthdays to mark – former manager Gordon Strachan, former defender Johan Mjallby and current midfield Olivier Ntcham.

Ntcham put the hoops ahead this afternoon with a fine long range strike, bringing in his 24th birthday in style. The goal was his seventh of the season and comes after amid a good run of games in the side. Meanwhile, Johan Mjallby was part of the Premier Sports punditry team at pitchside. The Swede played at Parkhead for 6 years, winning the league title three times and both domestic cups twice, as well as enjoying a stint as assistant manager for four years between 2010 and 2014. It’s hard to believe ‘Big Dolph’ turned 49 today, whilst he still looks in such good shape!

Unlike his fellow birthday Celts, Gordon Strachan, was not at Broadwood today. The former Hoops gaffer had a four year spell at the club between 2005 and 2009. During this time, Strachan guided Celtic to three league titles, a Scottish Cup and two League Cups. Strachan turned 63 today and is still seen at many Celtic matches as a pundit for BT Sport.
