A Disappointing Result but Bigger Picture is Looking Good

It would be fair to say we weren’t at our best yesterday! One team wanted it more and that was theRangers. They fully deserved their victory so congratulations to them.

There’s not one player you could give pass marks to yesterday, they all looked as if they were suffering from a title celebration hangover in the sun. The fact we started with only one of our regular back four and without our top scorer shouldn’t be overlooked either.

At the end of the day as disappointing as yesterday was, it wasn’t a season defining moment. theRangers hadn’t beat us in the league for nearly two years, and due to the law of averages it was bound to happen sometime. I’m just glad it was yesterday and not when it mattered like the previous three league meetings or the two cup games. Games that actually had something riding on the outcome.

All we learned yesterday was that theRangers can win when the pressure is off and Celtic still need more strength and depth.

At the end of the day theRangers will finish the season empty handed and we are still on course for a record breaking eighth treble. That’s the bigger picture.

I agree fully within what you say .
I’m reminded of pre World Cup warmups , when teams like Italy and Germany would be defeated by teams much lower ranked than themselves , then go on to win the World Cup … it was a learning curve which they mastered … they were perfecting their system in their own inimitable fashion .
I’m sure Ange has a similar logic .
It was a NOTHING match … he far too wise focused and diplomatic not to

Though by being victorious yesterday , will have done the victors no favours …but to our benefit , they will build on what they perceived yesterday.. which was NOTHING.
And if they build on the slippery sand of nothing , they will never learn .
Ange wanted a win , no doubt , but his priorities lie in SC final against ICT .

Who would have wanted us to field our top players yesterday, and have them brutalised by Sevco thugs , miss out on the final and potential treble with a weakened team and Masonically assisted men in black .

They didn’t win yesterday , we allowed ourselves not to win …a minor scratch in fight to another defining treble .

    • We gave them a very precious thing ….hope. We haven’t been great in the past 3 or 4 games against them. Beale seems to know how to get the better of us and will et the better of us if he makes good signings. We in turn must make proven quality signings ,not hit and hope guys from Japan.

Personally if that had been Jock Stein David Hay Tam Burns Martin O’Neil Brendan Rodgers they would’ve wanted to win the game.
Ange has struggled winning at ibrox and as a team and supporters you want total dominance against your so called rivals foot on the neck and be ruthless.
So going into Champions league it worries me bodo glimt and champions league we should win at home in some games and definitely 2 away fixtures or draws.
This really worries me in Europe but I want to totally dominate our so called rival at there dump.
Total dominance this year hopefully a treble but I worry about away performance against them and europe please fix this ange.
May St Nicholas and Brother Walfrid keep an everlasting guiding light on you and keep up angeball in our european endeavours.
