A very professional Celtic performance in Dingwall…

The 3-0 scoreline Celtic won by today, extending our lead at the top to eight points in the process certainly flattered our hosts.

Many will point to the early dismissal of Ross County defender James Brown as a factor in the final outcome. The sending off actually hindered us in my opinion as it made an already backs to the wall Ross County even more dogged and determined to sit back and hope for a point.

VAR for once did its job by intervening in correctly upgrading the caution to an ordering off. Why the referee didn’t notice it in real time is a mystery, and also a couple of other calls were quite questionable to say the least.

Two goals disallowed, and a blind eye turned to a couple of shirt pulling incidents in the first half amongst some questionable officiating. Is it only a penalty when it’s a Rangers shirt being pulled?

David Turnbull sent us on our merry way as he scored his second goal in as many games with a strike just as impressive as his one on Wednesday night. Luis Palma scored a sensational second with a superb strike distance, a goal that is an early contender for goal of the season. The Honduran continues to impress with each game.

He also assisted fellow substitute James Forrest with a simple third goal. The winger couldn’t miss as he headed in from close range to score for the 15th consecutive season. A marvellous achievement for James.

In the end it was a professional performance from the side and only Ross county keeper Ross Laidlaw stopped it from being a higher scoreline.

Just an Ordinary Bhoy
