Hibs signing Chris Mueller has revealed that Brazilian legend Kaka told him about Scottish football, paying incredible praise towards Celtic Park. The winger joined the Easter Road outfit from Orlando City and will likely lineup against Ange Postecoglou’s side on Monday as Premiership football resumes after the winter break.

Mueller is under no illusions about what to expect from a packed Paradise under the lights, having conferred with the ex-AC Milan and Real Madrid midfielder.

Kaka broke Celtic hearts in the 2005/07 season when he broke away in extra time at the San Siro and scored. The defeat sent Celtic out whilst Milan went on to win the trophy, beating Liverpool in Athens. The sides were drawn together in the group stages and Celtic won thanks to a late winner from Scott McDonald but Kaka found the net from the penalty spot. Fast forward to 2013, Kaka was back with the Italian side and he scored a header as Milan knocked Neil Lennon’s men out of the Champions League. As a player, he has played at some incredible stadiums with some unbelievable players so the praise from him is sincere.

Fans will be looking forward to returning to Celtic Park after over a month away. The winter break being brought forward means that this game as well as the Rangers game had to be rearranged to facilitate fans returning to games.
