Adidas set to increase Celtic shirt prices ahead of new season

Celtic fans look set to have to pay more for the 2023/24 replica kits after a report suggested that the German kit manufacturers would be increasing their prices ahead of the new season. Inflation and the cost-of-living crisis have no doubt impacted upon the decision to raise the kit prices but fortunately, it will just be a £10 increase.

According to FootyHeadlines, Adidas will raise the price of their shirts from £70 to £80.

Adidas are yet to confirm details of the new release of kits for the 2023/2024 season. This is in no part due to the fact that there are two trophies still up for grabs this season – the league, which is a win away, and the Scottish Cup, which is two wins away.

The kitmakers have been excellent since assuming agency from New Balance and that is expected to continue into the new campaign. It will be interesting to see what the club offer up for the new season, considering that they had three popular shirts this season (the Irish Connections shirt not the third kit).

Hopefully, there is at least a staggering of releases given ST renewals, kit launches at CL packages, it proves to be a pricey few months for fans this summer.
