ALAN STUBBS has celebrated the 22nd anniversary of Celtic winning the league and stopping Rangers win 10IAR back in 1998 by inviting Rangers supporters to a party next year. Celtic are on course for 9IAR and that would mean next season, there would be a chance to win the incredible and elusive 10IAR.

The central defender took to Twitter including a photo of the Louden Tavern’s 10-in-a-row party from 1998, which was spoiled by Stubbs, Larsson, Lambert and co. Stubbsy’s caption will infuriate the Ibrox support and further endear him with Celtic supporters.

Stubbs was a pivotal part of the Celtic team that stopped Rangers’ quest for 10IAR. The Scouser scored a late equaliser versus Rangers that would prove to be vital in the run-in. That season, Stubbs and Marc Rieper struck a confident and imposing defensive partnership which saw Celtic win the league cup as well as stopping 10IAR under Wim Jansen.

Stubbs also broke Rangers’ hearts in the 2016 Scottish Cup when, as Hibs manager, when the Edinburgh side scored a last minute winner to win the Cup 3-2.
