ALAN STUBBS has celebrated the 22nd anniversary of Celtic winning the league and stopping Rangers win 10IAR back in 1998 by inviting Rangers supporters to a party next year. Celtic are on course for 9IAR and that would mean next season, there would be a chance to win the incredible and elusive 10IAR.

The central defender took to Twitter including a photo of the Louden Tavernโ€™s 10-in-a-row party from 1998, which was spoiled by Stubbs, Larsson, Lambert and co. Stubbsyโ€™s caption will infuriate the Ibrox support and further endear him with Celtic supporters.

Stubbs was a pivotal part of the Celtic team that stopped Rangersโ€™ quest for 10IAR. The Scouser scored a late equaliser versus Rangers that would prove to be vital in the run-in. That season, Stubbs and Marc Rieper struck a confident and imposing defensive partnership which saw Celtic win the league cup as well as stopping 10IAR under Wim Jansen.

Stubbs also broke Rangersโ€™ hearts in the 2016 Scottish Cup when, as Hibs manager, when the Edinburgh side scored a last minute winner to win the Cup 3-2.
