Albian Ajeti could be set for a recall to the Swiss National Team. The 24-year-old has scored three and earned one assist since being reintroduced to the Celtic team and now it appears as if Murat Yakin could recall the attacker for the games against Northern Ireland and Lithuania.

According to Blue News, Ajeti is an option for the games in the next few weeks. The ex-West Ham and Basel attacker has had to bide his time since arriving in a £4.5m deal from The Hammers but an injury to Kyogo and Giorgos Giakoumakis being unfit to feature, Ajeti was able to take his place in the Starting XI and score in the wins over Ross County as well as the defeat to Real Betis.

Ajeti will likely lead the line again on Thursday in the League Cup against Raith Rovers and potentially against Dundee United on Sunday as well. This will give him the chance to get continue on his run of games and the opportunity to show Ange that he is good enough and hungry enough to compete for Celtic. He has probably been quite unfortunate given the time that he came to the club and it will take a spell this year to really see the best of Ajeti.
