The fast-track hearing to decide Albian Ajeti’s fate was due to be complete today, but, after being delayed earlier, that decision will now be made tomorrow.
The Celtic striker was charged with simulation against Kilmarnock last Tuesday, after he went down under the challenge of Colin Doyle in the box. Odsonne Edouard scored from the resultant penalty kick, but a panel of three former referees subsequently reviewed the footage and deemed Ajeti to have dived.

Faced with a two match ban, Celtic have appealed the decision on Ajeti’s behalf and hope to have him available to play against St Mirren on Wednesday night.
Celtic will now face an anxious wait ahead of their preparations to face the Buddies and, when broached on the subject, Neil Lennon told the Daily Record:
“If you’ve three referees looking at that and they can’t see that there’s contact, then I think the three referees need to be looked at rather than anything else. I’m pretty sure one or two other referees said there was contact, so why this process is still ongoing, I don’t understand.
“I couldn’t believe it. You see some of the other things that are going on around the country that we don’t make a big deal of. I’m surprised, but we’ll defend it as vigorously as possible. He (Ajeti) is not upset. He’s just bewildered by it all. He just doesn’t understand why these charges have been brought, but we’re confident we can win the appeal.”
