Former Celtic manager Ange Postecoglou has said that he will be tuning in to watch Sunday’s Glasgow Derby. Brendan Rodgers’ side travel to Ibrox to face Rangers in a mouthwatering clash that could have an impact upon where the Premiership title ends up in May.

Speaking at a Spurs media conference, the Australian showed how much he understood the importance of the fixture in comments to the English media as he says that he hopes Brendan and the team can get a result against their rivals.

The Tottenham manager’s comments regarding the importance of the fixture to supporters show that he was fully immersed with club during his successful two years at the club. Throughout his reign, Ange always made comments that showed his class and since departing, that has continued. Not only that, Ange appears to have been regularly updating himself on the happenings back in Glasgow.

Ange, who left Celtic for Spurs after completing a Treble, has said that he will be watching and supporting Celtic as they look to get a result in Govan. Hopefully, the team can continue their dominance in the fixture and escape Ibrox with a win.
