Celtic’s Ange Postecoglou has been named the PFA Scotland Manager of the Year. The Australian has been awarded the accolade for the second season in a row, not bad for a lucky manager.

At the awards ceremony in Glasgow this evening, the Australian manager picked up the gong from PFA Scotland, which was awarded based on votes from other managers. With his aggressive, relentless style of play as well as his charisma, Ange has taken Scottish football by storm since arriving in the summer of 2021.

The 57-year-old beat off competition from St Mirren’s Stephen Robinson, Dunfermline’s James McPake and Stirling Albion’s Darren Young to win the award.

Ange’s arms must be sore from picking up silverware since coming to Glasgow, winning a Double in his first season and has been successful this season, again, winning at least a Double. Celtic won the Viaplay Cup, beating Rangers in the Final, as well as reaching the Scottish Cup Final again by beating Michael Beale’s Rangers. The Boss will be looking towards the June 3rd Final meeting with Inverness CT, where he looks to seal his place in Celtic history by winning a Treble. A record breaking 8th treble.

Well done Ange.
