Ange Postecoglou could be set for a return to Scotland just one year after swapping Celtic for Tottenham Hotspur. The Australian is leading the top four charge (and unlikely title chase) with Spurs but plans are underway for next season already.
According to Football London’s Alasdair Gold, Spurs could begin their summer preparations with a friendly match in Scotland before travelling to Asia.

It could be the perfect opportunity for Ange to say goodbye to Celtic Park. However, it might be too soon for everyone involved given the emotion around his departure.
There was a brilliant rapport between Ange and the Celtic supporters, especially due to the fine football that he brought. Not only that, but the former Australian National Team manager was down to earth and he got what Celtic was all about, as well as the significance that the club had on its support.
Postecoglou arrived at Celtic in the summer of 2021. The Australian emerged as the front runner after Eddie Howe got cold feet. In that time, Ange introduced an excellent style of play and won five domestic trophies out of a possible six. It was a master stroke by Celtic whether by design or circumstance. The 58-year-old is now doing his credentials as being an elite coach no harm with Spurs.
There was a really excellent moment at Hampden after beating Inverness where the fans burst into song serenading their leader. There was a recognition for all Ange had achieved and that he had earned his move into the biggest league in the world. Thereafter, Ange was stood taking it in as ‘You’ll Never Walk Alone’ was belted out by the fans, taking it in as he knew he would be his last moment in front of those fans.
I bet its to play the Huns ,in that fake signing of the black player commemorative trophy that they invented .
