Someone should ask Ally what laws he intends to breach. After all isn’t theRangers still pretending their motto is ‘everyone anyone’?…

Ally McCoist today spoke of his bemusement of the new controversial hate crime legislation that was put in place as from yesterday. McCoist stated on Talksport that he along with 48,000 others will all be at risk of breaching these new laws during Sunday afternoon’s Glasgow Derby.

Bizarrely nobody thought to ask Ally which laws he intended on breaching. Since the much criticised hate bill covers hatred aimed towards disability, religion, sexual orientation, age, transgender identity and variations in sex characteristics, then it must be one of these groups that he intends offending. No prizes for guessing which one.

I think we can all take a wild guess at what Ally intends to indulge in, a bit of good old fashioned bigotry and sectarianism. Despite the cheeky chappie image Ally is fond of a wee ditty now and again when it comes to offending those of Roman Catholic faith.

He was brought up in an era when it was rife and acceptable at Rangers RIP after all. But surely such behaviour is not only deemed unacceptable under the new laws, but also under the Rangers Everyone Anyone motto?

Whatever your thoughts on the new bill, I’m sure we can all agree that we can get on with our lives without the need to indulge in hatred towards any of the groups covered under the new legislation. And we can all listen to their songs of hatred on Sunday then check how many arrests will follow follow…
