Conor Hazard joined Plymouth Argyle yesterday on a permanent deal, ending a decade long spell at Celtic.
The young keeper never really got a chance to solidify a starting spot with competition in the shape of Craig Gordon, Fraser Forster and Joe Hart during his time at the club.
Although Young Conor made only seven competitive appearances for the club, he carved his names into the Celtic history books by playing a vital part in the clinching of the quadruple treble.
Young Conor stood up to the monumental pressure of a penalty shoot and held his nerve by saving two vital penalties as the hoops clinched a historic quadruple treble at Hampden against Hearts back in 2020.
A lot was riding that day for the club as history was in the making. It says a lot for young goalkeeper’s mentality that he coped with such pressure.
Conor Hazard will be warmly remembered by the Celtic supporters and we all wish him the best of luck at Plymouth.
He will be a great signing for the championship club and will bring a lot of experience having had serval loan spells and of course representing his country at full international level.
All the best Conor.
