Brendan Rodgers talks to Celtic TV about his side’s unsung hero. Callum McGregor was extensively praised by the manager at the weekend after his outstanding performance in at least two different positions during the 4-2 win over Hibs. Now he has continued his praise for the versatile midfielder in his latest interview with the club’s own TC channel.
Meanwhile the Celtic manager took his players through to Edinburgh to train at Murrayfield this morning. Brendan had asked for this courtesy from the SPFL after the curve up was arranged to move the Celtic v Hearts game to Murrayfield, without a ballot to decide which tie should move.
The large pitch at Murrayfield might just be to this Celtic team’s liking for Sunday’s eagerly anticipated game which is on course to be a complete sell-out.
Celtic have just announced that the club has sold out all of our tickets and Hearts aren’t that far away from doing the same.
How are you getting to Edinburgh on Sunday and where will you park if you are taking the car? Here’s the situation re parking restrictions and closed roads etc. Trams will be a hassle – maybe park towards the airport and try from that end if you are using the car? There are park and ride options from that route, although it was pretty hard to get a tram back after the Legia Warsaw game at Murrayfield.
The train will also be a nightmare – anyone who was in the crush at Haymarket the last time will be reluctant to go through that again. Supporters buses can expect a delayed exit – but we’re used to that at Celtic Park! Here’s the roads situation..
