With the recent departure of Ange Postecoglou from Celtic to head to the Premier League, it seems that the main target for the Hoops is former boss, Brendan Rodgers. Recent updates have revealed that Celtic has already conducted extensive talks with Brendan Rodgers so, it seemed very likely that the Northern Irishman would be making his return to Paradise within a matter of days. However, a recent report by the Daily Record has revealed that another Premier League side has launched a last-ditched attempt at securing the services of Rodgers as their head coach. It is believed that Leeds United are preparing to throw a huge amount of money at Rodgers in a desperate attempt to get him to join their club.
It’s clear that Rodgers has a shed-load of experience in the Premier League, especially after his 4-year stint at Leicester City where he peaked in the top 5 as well as securing the FA Cup in 2021. However, his interest to manage another Premier League side has appeared to be slightly drained, as he has rejected several mid-table clubs who were interested in signing him.
Record Sport revealed that following on from the advanced talks with Celtic, Rodgers needs time to consider his options and decide with his family what the right move is for him. For now, only time will tell whether Leeds United will be able to reignite Rodger’s interest in the Premier League.

Leeds united are not a premier league team. They were relegated last season.
Leeds United is not “a Premier League side” , having just been relegated. Moreover, a takeover is in progress; and it’s widely reckoned that the club’s best
players such as Gnonto, Aaronson and Adams, will leave. These factors would surely influence Brendan Rogers’ choice….? Poor writing, for once.
Leeds are not a premier lge club. They finished 19 th with 31 pts. They will be playing championship football. Headline not as sensational with championship in it.

On a similar note , could you please inform some of your other “ younger “ contributors, that a Glasgow club formerly known as • rangers ( in liquidation) no longer exist . A little lesson in modern football history could be very informative.
They died quite a few years ago , and are now known as •therangers , formerly also known in their infancy as Sevco .. which we still like to call them … because it’s kinda cute for the young club . Bless them .
