Brendan Rodgers was serenaded by the Celtic support in the closing stages of the win against Hearts at Tynecastle. The Irishman’s side were immense as they brushed aside the Edinburgh side and the support recognised Rodgers’ impact on the team.
Rodgers returned to the club in the summer to replace Ange Postecoglou, who left for Tottenham Hotspur. The announcement was met with some resistance from factions of the support but it is fair to say that the manager has won them over with an impressive start to the season.

Goals from Matt O’Riley, Daizen Maeda, Kyogo and Tomoki Iwata sealed a comprehensive 4-1 victory for the Scottish Champions, who remain unbeaten.
It is the first time that Celtic have won their first five away games since 2017. Since Rodgers has returned, his team have been to Pittodrie, Ibrox, Livingston, Fir Park and Tynecastle and recorded maximum points.
Meanwhile, Steven Naismith and his Hearts team were booed off the pitch by their supporters that remained. Not many of them, to be fair.
