Brendan’s brilliant man management clear to see…

Brendan Rodgers has been back in the building only matter of months but already he’s made his mark on the side and for the better. Any reservations about his appointment have evaporated as we’ve stormed to the top of the table after only eight games establishing a seven point lead in the process.

Wins at tough away venues like Pittodire, Livingston, Fir Park and Ibrox have left us sitting comfortably at the top for the league looking down on St Mirren and theRangers.

Despite a disappointing League cup exit and two Champions League defeats we can be happy with our season so far. That’s all down to the management of Brendan Rodgers. Particularly his man management.

The way he deals with his players is admirable. Liam Scales is probably the best example. Liam looked is if he was out the door at one point and is now looking like he’s a nailed on starter. Okay, some of that was down to injury problems, but he still had the hard work to do and he done it and more.

That is of course down to the player himself, but Brendan would have played a massive part in that. He’s made him believe in his own ability.

Then there’s Matt O’Riley. Brendan has rejuvenated him so much he’s currently the leagues top scorer. Kyogo has been asked to play a different role and he’s adapted brilliantly. He even notched his first goal in the Champions League group stage.

Daizen Maeda has also looked a different player and for the better. Brendan has worked his magic yet again and were now starting to see it happen with Reo Hatate who was back to his brilliant best at the weekend after speaking to the manager after the game against Lazio.

Brendan has clearly got a magic touch when it comes to improving players. These players enjoy playing under him. The fact that no fewer than seven first team players have signed new deals is a testament to that.
