Prominent Scottish singer Lewis Capaldi performed to a sell-out crowd in a Celtic jumper. As the Scottish Champions were beaten by Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabeu, the 26-year-old was sporting one of the club’s latest Adidas releases.
While performing at Baloise Session Festival in the Swiss city of Basel, Capaldi was spotted wearing the leisure sweatshirt that was released ahead of the festive season. The singer is an extraordinary talent but also quite a comic.
Capaldi has previously had a Season Ticket at Celtic Park but given he is touring to promote his new album, getting to games may be more difficult for the singer-songwriter. Capaldi has previously spoken of his love for the club and also an altercation with neighbour, and ex-Celtic manager, Neil Lennon. The pair clashed over a parking space but Capaldi didn’t have the heart to challenge the fiery Irishman over this.
Last summer, Capaldi was pictured with Celtic legend Scott Brown at a local festival and earlier in his tour, the singer played The Celtic Song while on stage in London.
