CCV’s home improvements clue, “Carter-Vickers in Bearsden? Not the first time”

If you were looking for confirmation of Cameron Carter-Vickers signing on at Celtic, then look no further. This brilliant find, posted by Stand For Celtic on social media, is perhaps the definitive answer as to whether our on-loan Spurs defender is about to make his switch from North London to the east end of Glasgow a permanent arrangement.

And extra kudos to Gerry Bhoy for this reply to Stand For Celtic’s post. Genius!

Both deals for Carter-Vickers and Jota are certainly sounding like they are nearing completion now. As Lubo98 informed us on the late shift last night Jota’s representatives are due to meet with Celtic with a view to completing a £6.5m move to the Hoops, and yesterday it was Cameron Carter-Vickers receiving the column inches as it was reported the USA international had agreed personal terms with Celtic and now the club had until 15 June to reach agreement with Spurs.

With Daizen Maeda already confirmed as making his loan move a permanent arrangement from former club Yokohama Marinos, and the player attending his former club’s game with Kyoto Sanga today to receive his big send-off, it could well be a triple unveiling will be the order of the day in the very near future as Celtic’s recruitment plans for next season get into full swing.

And if Maeda and Jota need a discount on floor tiles, it may well be Cameron Carter-Vickers is just the man to ask!
