So theRangers ultras the Onion Bears spent the early hours of Saturday morning dubbing bridges in paint declaring Glasgow is blue. Deluded fools. Sadly for them it will disappear as quickly as the old club they supported. Not only did it make them look like total imbeciles, it came back to bite them big time as they had to watch on TV as their side lost to the Champions.

Make no mistake, the Onion Bears like most of the Rangers supporters and players thought they just had to turn up at Celtic Park to win. The same could be said of the SMSM. They all thought it was in the bag. Fools each and every one of them.

Yes Celtic aren’t playing that greatly at the moment, but we are Champions and have a proven coach in Brendan Rodgers who knows what it takes to win these games, and yesterday he proved it yet again.

These past few weeks the Ibrox side have been portrayed as something they are not. There’s been Treble and even the Quadruple talk and many reckoned the Scottish Premiership to be in the bag. But yesterday we made them look like the ordinary side they really are. The game might have finished a bit nervy to our liking, but make no mistake, the scoreline – Celtic 2 theRangers 1 – flattered theRangers.

We were head and shoulders above them in every department and they got what they deserved out of the game which was nothing. Despite their complaining about the match officials. That is just a classic theRangers squirrel to deflect from their failings. They know they weren’t a match for the Champions.
