Celtic 3-0 the Rangers – Brendan Rodgers delivers yet another Beautiful Sunday

Yet another Beautiful Sunday. Celtic winning in style…

Well today was yet another Beautiful Sunday. Celtic Park full to the rafters and we got a result while also putting on a show as we cruised to a 3-0 victory thanks to goals from Daizen Maeda, Kyogo, and a fantastic finish from man of the match Callum McGregor.

From start to finish we were much the better side. Better in defence, better in the middle of the park and better in attack. We played as a team, we were sharp and we were ruthless and theRangers couldn’t live with us, and they should thank themselves lucky that they left Celtic park with a 3-0 loss. It could and should’ve been a helluva lot more.

The manner in which we won was rather pleasing. In these games sometimes grinding out any form of victory is satisfactory, but to do so in the style that we did leaves you feeling all that much more better.

We look a much more better side than last season. Our all round play is much more slicker and ruthless. There’s a togetherness within the side that sometimes didn’t seem evident on a more than a few occasions last season.

With better quality also being added in the transfer window, there’s a lot to look forward to this season.

  1. This is quickly becoming one of the best teams we have created in many a long year imo?
And the extra ingredient that we have been missing for so long, is the amount of squad depth we seem to be getting into place eventually?
The level of footballing intelligence on show from ourselves is at such a high level at present, and still believe that we have a few extra gears within our all round play, to go up still?
For way too long we have been operating, where we were so dependent and reliant upon certain players within our team?
To get decent competition in place for starting positions is something that we have been crying out for years?
Looking like it’s finally arrived, yet still wouldn’t want an injury crisis to impact ourselves either?
Rodgers already has an invincible team under his belt with ourselves.
With the current level of football been produced at present, then couldn’t rule out this team being able to match or even better the achievements of the invincibles, even at this very early stage of the season imo?
