As stated by Stephen McGowan in MailSport, the former Luton Town, Leicester City and Spurs boss has been handed a scouting role with the club, specifically dealing with the English game.
The 80 year-old stepped back from role at Tottenham
It was only last season Tottenham had officially confirmed the 80 year-old would be stepping back from duties with the North London club after spending years as a coach, director of football and most recently working as a consultant.
During Mauricio Pochettino’s era at Tottenham, the self-proclaimed ‘football obsessive’ had a helping hand in recruiting Dele Alli, Ben Davies and previously under Andre Villas-Boas regime, Jan Vertonghen.

Football Doctor Paul Tisdale
Celtic’s new head of recruitment and former Exeter City boss Paul Tisdale was involved in offering Pleat the role which will see the Tottenham consultant of 14 years watch games and players in England.
Celebrating his 80th birthday last week, Pleat’s knowledge and understanding of the game will be helpful to Brendan Rodgers given that Celtic only have half a dozen scouts working for the club.
