Celtic are closing in on a deal to sign Adam Idah on a loan-to-buy deal. The Scottish Champions are in the market for a striker to push Kyogo Furuhashi up front and have been progressing with talks to bring the Norwich City attacker to Paradise.

As reported by Record Sport, Idah is keen on moving to Celtic with a host of English and European teams left disappointed at missing out in his signature.

The 22-year-old grew up in Cork before moving to Norwich. In 115 appearances, Idah has scored 17 goals and assisted 4 times. The Irishman also has three goals for his country, including from the spot – something that Celtic could certainly benefit from.

The report continues that Celtic are keen on making more signings in the coming days as Brendan Rodgers looks to add more quality to his squad. The manager will want left-back as a priority once Idah is in the building. The club will be keen to get business done after a frustrating window in which the club have struggled to get numbers in.
