Celtic have confirmed the sale of Bosun Lawal to Stoke City. The Irishman spent last season on loan at Fleetwood Town and it was expected that he would fight for his place under Brendan Rodgers this summer.

However, after the Celtic manager said that the ex-Watford talent had to do more, it was clear that he would likely be moved on.
Bosun Lawal has joined Stoke City on a permanent transfer.
Good luck, Bosun! 🍀 https://t.co/NquKWPjR6r

It is believed that the Potters have paid a fee that will rise to around £3m to ensure that they would best off any other suitors to bring the versatile midfielder into the club.
The club have been proactive in getting players out the door – Sead Haksabanovic, Rocco Vata, Oh and Benjamin Siegrist have all departed. Brendan Rodgers is keen to get a number of players that he sees as being surplus to requirements out the door, such as Gustaf Lagerbielke and Yuki Kobayashi.
Celtic are closing in on a deal to sign Adam Idah from Norwich. The clubs have agreed a £8.5m fee with the player set to travel to Glasgow for a medical and to complete personal terms.
