Celtic will travel up the A9 to Dingwall for the early kick-off (12.30pm) on Saturday 4 November to take on Malky Mackay’s Ross County side and today the Celtic Ticket Office announced the away allocation for the Celtic support.
Brendan Rodgers’ side have to play Hibs on Saturday at Easter Road then St Mirren next Wednesday night at Celtic Park before the trip to the Highlands where there will be 1,326 Celtic supporters in the away section of the Ross County ground to cheer on the Bhoys.
Hibs have allocated a full stand behind the goal at the weekend to the Celtic support, unlike Hearts who reduced the Celtic allocation for the game on Sunday to just over 500 tickets, stating that they had to provide a more tickets to their own supporters to satisfy demand, only for them to end up with their lowest crowd of the season and having to suffer the embarrassment of the empty section after making such a big thing about the demand from their own fans.
Perhaps they just didn’t fancy their team’s chances of taking anything from the Champions and if they was the case then they were of course correct as Celtic swept Hearts aside with a performance that had the Hearts fans who did turn up leaving in their thousands after an hour played.
Celtic will head to Madrid after the match in Dingwall and for that Champions League match the Celtic ticket allocation is 3431 and knowing the Celtic travelling support, there will be many more than that finding their way into the Metropolitano Stadium.
