CELTIC have confirmed that the club’s high street stores will shut until December 11th as a result of Nicola Sturgeon’s decision to put a substantial amount of the central belt into Tier 4. The Scottish Champions will keep their online store open as Christmas approaches but the club reiterate their commitment to public safety.
In a statement on the club website, the 9IAR Champions confirmed that they would be forced to close the stores in the interest of safety. The club also reiterated the need for supporters to ‘stay safe and stay connected’ ahead of the three week lockdown.
Hopefully the news potential vaccine will allow for supporters to attend Celtic Park in the near future, which will be a source of comfort to fans that haven’t been in the stadium since March.
Elsewhere, Neil Lennon’s side have been given a huge boost ahead of the weekend with news that Moi Elyounoussi and Kris Ajer wouldn’t be forced to quarantine upon their return from Norway. The pair will now be free to face Hibs on Saturday as the Scottish Champions look to push themselves up the table.
