On Tuesday it was announced that approximately £600,000 had been invested into Celtic FC Foundation’s Football for Good Fund.
With the kind generosity of the Celtic support, the campaign has so far provided: food and essentials to over 35,000 vulnerable families and individuals, 9,000 vulnerable pensioners and 4,000 people facing homelessness. Meanwhile, over 11,000 hot meals have been delivered to frontline NHS staff.
Now helping to boost the campaign are digital advertising specialists, Ocean, whose advertising screens across Glasgow are helping the Celtic Foundation to spread their message. A supporter of the Foundation for several years, Ocean have agreed to display the advertisements for free since Tuesday!
With advertising space having been donated at over 30 different Glasgow locations, Ocean have helped Celtic to convey the message of the impact created thus far through the Fund.
Celtic FC Foundation Chief Executive, Tony Hamilton, said: “Ocean have been a fantastic supporter of Celtic FC Foundation for some time now and once again they have been extremely keen to help our cause. With our messaging displayed in so many locations throughout the city, this is a wonderful opportunity for Celtic FC Foundation to showcase the work that has been done so far through the Football for Good Fund. Our sincere thanks to Chris Trainer, Marc Keenan and everyone at Ocean for all of their efforts.
