Scott Breddy has confirmed that he is leaving Celtic after nine years working at the club. The Scottish coach had been the First Team Strength and Conditioning Coach at the club but has made the decision to swap Paradise for the classroom as he joins one of the country’s finest universities to undergo the Postgraduate Diploma in Education at the University of Strathclyde.

In a tweet, Breddy confirmed his decision and wished the club continued success whilst paying tribute to those that he has worked with at the club.

Breddy was promoted to his most recent role by Ange Postecoglou in the October of 2021. However, after almost two seasons, he has decided to pursue a teaching role rather than coaching. Brendan Rodgers has brought Glenn Driscol back to the club and is keen on continued strengthening behind the scenes.

Good luck to Scott.
