It’s a transition period, but two wins out of two is all that matters, writes Just An Ordinary Bhoy…
It’s been noticeable that this Celtic side have been a bit out of sorts the first two games of the new season. That is understandable considering the players are getting used to a change of strategy under the leadership of new manager Brendan Rodgers.
It will take more than a few games for it to all to click. It took several months for the players to gel under Ange Postecoglou so it’s only natural the players will have a few teething problems.
The fact that we have won our first two games scoring seven goals in the process is fantastic. Especially when one of those games was at a tough venue like Pittodrie.
We aren’t playing well but still winning, that’s the mark of champions. This side have terrific team spirit and once they are all on the same hymn sheet as Brendan Rodgers they will be unstoppable.
Brendan is a class act and he’s shown even with a weakened side he can still produce results. He’s a great motivator and man manager, as is noticeable in the way we’ve battled to two wins out of two and are only joined by St Mirren in having maximum points.
The signs are looking good, and once it all clicks we will be a force to be reckoned with. As per usual.
