Celtic are reportedly interested in signing another attacker from Norwich City.

The Scottish Champions have worked hard to agree an £8.5m deal with the Championship side for Adam Idah. Now, Celtic are rumoured to be interested in right sided attacker Abu Kamara.

According to Football Insider’s Pete O’Rourke via Twitter/X, Celtic are monitoring the 21-year-old winger with a view to a summer move.

It appears that there are a few teams vying for the signature of the highly rated attacker, who could play on either side and through the middle. It doesn’t appear that Kamara would be a first team addition rather one for the future.

The England U20 International has only made four first team appearances for Norwich but impressed on loan with Portsmouth last season, scoring 10 goals and assisting on 11 occasions.

Celtic appear to be ramping up their business in the middle of August as the window with Idah set to sign for a fee of £8.5m. The Irishman follows Schmeichel, Sinisalo and Bernardo in through the door on permanent deals. Brendan Rodgers wants quality in his team, representing pace and power.

Celtic are also in discussions with Liverpool over the signing of left-back Owen Beck who spent most of last season on loan at Dundee and was a transfer target for the Hoops in the January transfer window. Liverpool are asking for £3m but Celtic have yet to reach that figure, according to reports from the Liverpool side of things.
