Celtic have drawn away to face Motherwell in the Scottish League Cup Quarter Final. After Ange Postecoglou’s side recorded a 4-1 win over Ross County in Dingwall, the next round of fixtures were set after the draw live on Premier Sport.

Celtic will now travel to Motherwell after Stevie Hammil’s side beat Inverness CT tonight. It will certainly be an interesting one and be a difficult fixture as Fir Park often is. It will be another away tie but hopefully Motherwell, like Ross County, appreciate the traveling support as opposed to leaving empty seats at their stadium.

The games will take place on the midweek with games scheduled for the 18th-20th of October. The draw in full:

Motherwell v Celtic
Kilmarnock v Dundee United
Rangers v Dundee
Aberdeen v Partick Thistle

The win in Dingwall is the first game in a congested but crucial period of games. This weekend brings the first Glasgow Derby of the season with Rangers visiting Celtic Park. Then, on Tuesday, Real Madrid visit Paradise. For now the League Cup can be put on the back burner as Ange’s side have sealed their place in the next round.
