CELTIC are reportedly chasing the signature of Queens Park Rangers winger Bright Osayi-Samuel. As reported by the Scottish Sun, Neil Lennon, Gary Penrice and Nicky Hammond are all interested in bringing the winger to Celtic Park in a cut-price deal as the player enters his final year with the Championship side.

The 22-year-old was the subject of a £4.7m bid from Club Brugge and despite Mark Warburton accepting the offer, the player decided to reject the chance to move to the Juniper League. The Loftus Road side may be willing to strike a deal now that would get them some value in the player – who would be free to sign terms with the Scottish Champions in January on a pre-contract basis.

Crystal Palace are also believed to be keen on the winger and a deal would include a loan back facility to Warburton’s QPR. However, Celtic’s Head of Recruitment Gary Penrice has ties with the London club and may be able to help influence a deal with the player.

Elsewhere, Manchester City are open to offers for ex-Celtic loan star Paddy Roberts as Neil Lennon looks to strengthen his wide areas. The 23-year-old has had loan spells at Girona, Norwich and Middlesbrough but has failed to settle since spending two and a half season with the Scottish Champions.
