Yesterday’s interview with Odsonne Edouard seems to have killed a lot of the Celtic transfer stories today, after Eddy made it clear that he plans to be at Celtic Park next season.

That doesn’t mean that some names won’t keep popping up. Shon Weissman was largely unknown until a few weeks ago, but the prolific Israeli striker continues to be linked with Celtic.

Despite that, his club President has tried to play that down by insisting his player only wants to play in one of two countries, and Scotland isn’t one of them.

Celtic seems to be his latest target after insisting he was sacked because of the colour of his skin, and he’s continuing to embarrass himself with further comments today.

It’s very important to point out that any racial claims do need to be taken seriously, but it would be seriously naive to suggest he was sacked for anything other than a horrific performance as manager.
