Celtic Offer Refund To Fans For Missed Games

As every football fan in Scotland knows, the SPFL season was called to a premature halt yesterday. As such, Celtic fans missed out on eight matches. The post-split fixtures hadn’t yet been announced, but season ticket holders, who will now miss out on home matches, which they have already paid for, are now offered a refund by the club.

To obtain said refund, fans are required to download a refund application form. Payment will then be made via cheque.

Some of your refund based questions may be answered below. However, if you require further assistance and to download the form; visit celticfc.net/refunds

Q. I wish for my funds to stay in the Club, what do I need to do?

If you wish to leave your funds in the Club, you do not need to do anything. By not returning the form, your funds will remain in the Club, assisting us in tackling the challenges ahead and ensuring that the Club remains as strong as possible.

Q. How can I apply for a refund?

Season Ticket Holders can apply for their refund by downloading the refund application form which can be found on the Club website at celticfc.net/refunds

Once completed fully, please post to Refund Applications, PO Box 87, Glasgow, G14 0JF.

Q. When should I return my form?

Those requesting a refund should have their forms returned by Friday 19th June 2020.

Q. How will I be refunded?

Season Ticket holders who return the Refund Application Form will have a cheque posted to them by the Club.

Q. How has the value of the refund been calculated?

Pro rata refunds have been calculated based on the applicable season ticket price and the proportion of Season Ticket matches which will not now be completed, i.e.

– Full Season Tickets – pro rata refund based on 4 home matches not completed out of 21

– Special Season Tickets – pro rata refund based on 3 home matches not completed out of 19

– Concession Opt Out Season Tickets – pro rata refund based on 3 home matches not completed out of 19

– Concession Opt In Season Tickets – £30 plus cost of pro rata refund of 3 home matches not completed out of 19

Q. Can I complete the refund application for more than one person?

A separate form should be fully completed for each Season Ticket Holder. Forms detailing more than one client reference cannot be processed. You can post multiple individual forms together in the one envelope.

Where the Season Ticket Holder is under 16, additional details of the adult to whom the cheque should be payable should also be provided if required.

Q. I purchased my season ticket for Season 19/20 via V12 Retail Finance or Zebra Finance, do I have to contact V12/Zebra Finance for a refund?

If full payment has already been made to either finance provider, then you do not need to contact V12 or Zebra, please just complete and return the Refund Application Form.

If you still have any amounts outstanding to either finance provider, please contact us at refundenquiries@celticfc.co.uk

Q. My relative/friend purchased my Season Ticket for Season 19/20 as I am on their Celtic Network. Should I apply for the refund or should they request on my behalf?
