Celtic fans could be set for a bumper away allocation for the game against Lazio. The Serie A side face up against Brendan Rodgers’ team on the 28th of November but fans are already looking at securing their route to the Eternal City.

Celtic’s SLO John Paul Taylor issued a cryptic message on Twitter/X when asked about ticketing arrangements for the Stadio Olimpico by suggesting that fans should avoid buying in the Home End as there was a long way to go, suggesting that Celtic may receive the incredible allocation that they had for the Europa League match in 2019.

Celtic won on their last visit to Rome with Olivier Ntcham’s late goal sealing a memorable victory. There were around 9000 Celtic fans in the away end on that occasion and fans will be hoping for the same support in a country that is renowned for its fierce approach to visiting fans.

There will likely be a clamouring by fans to get to the ground and given the reception that visiting supporters tend to get in Italy, it is for the best that Celtic fans do not risk going into the home end.
