Celtic are reportedly preparing to make a permanent offer to sign Adam Idah from Norwich City. The Scottish Champions are said to have been pleased with the Irishman’s contribution since arriving in January on a loan until the end of the season.

According to Football League World, Celtic will pay around the £5m asking price to make the 23-year-old’s move permanent.

The Canaries are currently preparing for the play-offs to attempt to make the Premier League but it appears they have decided upon moving Idah on. The big striker appears to be loving his time in Glasgow as he looks to help Celtic towards a Double and the club will be keen to tie up a deal ahead of the new season.

Idah has scored 7 goals in 12 games as well as assisting twice. The Ireland International has been an impressive alternative to Kyogo in Brendan Rodgers’ frontline.

Brendan was keen on bringing Idah to the club and ignored clamour for Sydney Van Hooijdonk – who has failed to impress at Norwich. Idah fits the bill of bringing pace and power to Celtic and it would be a decent signing to bring him in on a permanent basis.
