CELTIC have recalled young midfielder Ewan Henderson from his season-long loan to Ross County.
“Ewan Henderson has been recalled from his loan at Ross County and will return to Celtic,” the club tweeted this morning. Henderson made a real impact in the games he played in the second half of last season but hasn’t been used by the Staggies as much as Celtic had hoped for.

“Good decision, they were hardly using the kid,” Tambo Unchained noted, providing the stats to prove his point. It’s pretty strange that Ross County didn’t play Henderson as much as we’d have expected after seeing him last season when he was always impressive.
Ryan Christie couldn’t get near the Celtic team, went on loan to Aberdeen and is now a key performer at Celtic. Maybe Ewan Henderson will be going out again on loan or perhaps Neil Lennon and John Kennedy reckon he can contribute to the run-in this season?
Celtic play Ross County tomorrow at Celtic Park in the Premiership. The match is now a complete sell-out, signifying the importance of every game for the rest of the season as Celtic chase down 9 in a Row and the Scottish Cup to deliver a quadruple treble. And there’s also the Europa League campaign with that tie against Copenhagen getting ever closer.
It would be nice if Ewan Henderson makes the Celtic bench tomorrow.
Good decision
