Celtic have rejected a £10 million bid from English Championship side Leeds United for Matt O’Riley, according to Anthony Joseph at Sky Sports.
The bid comes off the back of reported interest from Leeds and Southampton two days ago. Along with rejecting the bid, Celtic have reiterated to Leeds that they consider him not for sale.
O’Riley has been a key cog in Celtic’s midfield since joining the club in January 2022 from MK Dons in League 1 for £1.5 million pounds.
The Denmark U21 international led the league in most assists last season with 11, in a season where he made 54 appearances in all competitions, scoring four times and registering fourteen assists.
The 22-year-old has started this season in similar fashion, scoring two goals and registering one assist in Celtics opening four games.

There has been reported interest from various Premier League and Bundesliga sides this summer for O’Riley, with Fabrizio Romano even reporting Brighton were considering a bid for the player in June.
It seems very unlikely the player will the leave the club this season with Celtic remaining firm on their stance that the player is not for sale.
O’Riley will be a key part of Rodgers side this season, as they search for back to back to back league titles and European progression.
