Celtic are reportedly considering a move for Andriy Lunin as a potential successor for Joe Hart. The Real Madrid goalkeeper finds himself down the pecking order with Los Blancos and reports suggest a move to Glasgow could be on the cards.
According to Record Sport, Celtic are monitoring the Ukrainian Internationalist as they consider making a move. Lunin, 24, has made 19 appearances for Madrid and had been hoping that Courtois’ injury would’ve opened the door for more game time before the arrival of Kepa from Chelsea.
Hart, 36, has been excellent since joining Celtic from Tottenham Hotspur in 2021. Now into his third season, Hart has been coy on future plans insisting that he is going to enjoy his football without worrying about the future. The goalie has a young family and that’ll likely be weighing on his mind, especially given the amount of travel that he puts in to playing for Celtic.
Celtic have also been linked with Liverpool’s Caoimhin Kelleher but Jurgen Klopp has insisted he wants the Irishman to remain at Anfield.
