Celtic are reportedly scouting QPR striker Sinclair Armstrong as Brendan Rodgers looks to strengthen his attacking options. The 20-year-old has been in talks with the Loftus Road side but given their woeful form, it is no surprise that he is considering his options.
According to TeamTalk, Celtic’s scouts have watched the powerful forward, who has scored one goal and provided two assists in 11 Championship games so far this season. The Irish attacker will be hoping to push Gareth Ainsworth’s side back up beyond the Championship drop zone. It is not only Celtic that are keen on the player with Crystal Palace also watching the player.
Brendan Rodgers already has Kyogo as his talisman and South Korean central forward Oh as his back up with Daizen Maeda providing depth through the middle. The Celtic support are still looking for Oh to replicate the form of Giorgos Giakoumakis, who left the club for Atlanta Utd in the MLS earlier this year.
Given that Kyogo has a shoulder injury that could, supposedly, go with a bad challenge, Rodgers will be keen to add some added depth to his striking area. The manager will need to have someone that is willing to play a supporting role to Kyogo.
