Fraser Forster spoke to the media, as reported via the Celtic Twitter feed, about wanting to return to winning ways against Ross County tomorrow, as the Champions look to regain their place at the top of the SPFL Premiership table.

The goalie, who returned to the club on-loan from Southampton this summer, is glad he made the decision to come back to Celtic and is hoping to recover from the previous two league games that allowed Rangers to take top spot.

“It’s good to be back. It just feels like I’ve never been away really, I’ve hit the ground running.”

“We got off to a great start in the league, a couple of indifferent results there and it’s been a wake up call. It’s all about how we react, what we learn, how we build on that and how we turn that into wins.”

“We’re playing at home and we want to go out and play as well as we can. We’ve obviously dropped points the last two games but we’re very much looking to go out and give a good reaction.”

Forster stressed how disruptive the international break can be for the players; however, has insisted that the squad is ready to put right the defeat at Livingston and draw to Hibs when the Highlanders arrive in Glasgow’s East End tomorrow afternoon.

“It’s only kind of been today by the time all the lads are back and have done their recovery, so we look forward to getting to work again. We look forward to tomorrow, you can’t change the past and we hope to put it right tomorrow.”

Forster, who spent four years at Celtic from 2010-2014, is confident that the dressing room is hungry to succeed and continue the club’s domination of Scottish football.

“We have a fantastic group of lads in the changing room and as a group we really want to succeed. That’s still the way it is.”
