Celtic start at home to Livingston on flag-day. Here we go, 8IAR

CELTIC will begin their league campaign on 4 August at Celtic Park against Livinston while Steven Gerrard has to wait an extra day and to face a huge challenge away to Aberdeen.

Our first away game is next and it is a tricky one for Celtic this time with an away trip to Tynecastle. Craig Levein will be in early today to hide the lawnmower. This game is scheduled for 11 August – obviously the TV guys are likely to change the day/times of kick-off etc.

The third round of matches and the last in August see Celtic at home again – this time to Hamilton and this is scheduled for 25 August.

Celtic are at home again on 1 September when Steven Gerrard will be at Celtic Park with his new club.
