Celtic striking target Bojan Miovski has been quizzed on his future amidst links away from Aberdeen. The North Macedonian striker joined Aberdeen in the summer of 2022 from Budapest but has impressed with his goalscoring form.
With 22 goals this season, Celtic have been linked with a move for the 24-year-old with the Dons reportedly asking for £5m plus. Although, speaking to Red TV, Miovski said that his future was not determined yet.
“No one knows about the future, but I have two more years on my contract.
“I signed for four years and have two left. The future can bring everything, but you never know. For now I am an Aberdeen player.”
The attacker hasn’t scored in five games with Neil Warnock’s side teetering towards a relegation dogfight. Miovski was linked at the beginning of the January window but rumours cooled. The Scottish Champions moved for Adam Idah on a loan deal from Norwich City, whilst there was no built in deal, the Irishman has impressed and the move could be made permanent.
Brendan Rodgers will require a number of arrivals in the summer, especially adding quality in key areas. He may require a couple of strikers and you’d think the fact that Miovski is proven in Scotland would stand him in good stead for a move.
