Celtic target, Cho Gue-sung has been taking to the media about interest in his services and the World Cup bust-up he had with Portugal superstar, Cristiano Ronaldo. The South Korean star, 24, has emerged as a possible January transfer window capture by Ange Postecoglou and fortified his pedigree with two goals in Qatar.
A teammate of Tottenham Hotspur’s Son, Cho helped his country reach the Round of 16 before faltering to Tite’s Brazil. They made a dramatic escape after they managed to overcome Portugal on 2 December 2-1 at the expense of Luis Suarez’s Uruguay side.
Now the striker has been speaking out about his potential move to Europe, with a cluster of teams thought to be keen on the dynamic forward. Cho has insisted that he will choose a club based on the guarantee of game-time he will get.

“Rather than dreaming of signing for one specific club, for me, being able to play every week is the most important aspect of any move and that’s what will influence me, as reported by Scottish Sun. “But I can honestly say there is nothing concrete about a transfer yet.”
The player responded to talk about his confrontation with Cristiano Ronaldo during their World Cup match. The former Real Madrid and Manchester United man was leaving the pitch but it wasn’t quite quickly enough for Cho, so he gave him a gentle reminder as he sauntered off-field.
He said: “We were in a situation where we had to score one more goal against Portugal and Ronaldo was being substituted off.
“He was being slow so I walked up to him and said ‘faster’ in English to him. I wanted him to get off the pitch quicker. He wasn’t happy. There were many people who thought what I did wasn’t acceptable, but I wanted him off the pitch as quickly as possible because I was desperate to win. I really enjoyed the tournament and we all got a great reaction when we returned home to the airport.”
