Celtic target Sead Haksabanovic is in London as he nears his switch from Rubin Kazan to the Scottish Champions. Reports this afternoon had said that the player was in Glasgow and had even been toured around Lennoxtown. However, reliable journalist Mark Hendry updated supporters to say that the Montenegro Internationalist was in London.

The 23-year-old fits the bill in terms of what Ange Postecoglou is looking for – fast, versatile and talented. Haksabanovic impressed in Sweden to earn the move to Russia but a move to Scotland will allow him the chance to play on the biggest stage in football – the Champions League.

Celtic are moving through the final stages of the transfer window as the manager tries to strengthen in certain areas while cutting players that are unlikely to feature. Mikey Johnston will likely be moved on in a loan deal while Christopher Jullien and Albian Ajeti are most likely to depart on permanent deals before the window is closed.
