Celtic will be back in League Cup action for the first time since beating theRangers eleven months ago in the Final at Hampden when a wonderful strike from Christopher Jullien won the trophy for the long-time Holders.
Celtic were first out of the hat and have been paired with Premier League rivals Ross County, while the Rangers have to travel to Falkirk. St Mirren v Aberdeen and Hibs v Dundee are other notable ties, especially as the draw has just been made after Hibs beat Dundee 4- in the same competition!
🗓 The Hoops will begin their defence of the #BetfredCup against @RossCounty at Celtic Park.
The last 16 tie will be played across the weekend of 28/29 November. Full fixture details TBC. pic.twitter.com/Axr2tWr30A

Celtic have enjoyed a remarkable run of consecutive wins in both domestic competitions and are aiming to complete a quadruple treble just before Christmas in the Scottish Cup Final. Usually its the League Cup that’s being won in December but this time we’ll be looking for the games on 28/29 November when Celtic can beat Ross County in the League Cup and take another step closer to Hampden.
