Celtic to receive £4.5m for Oh but Norwich deny further bid claims

Celtic are set to receive £4.5m for Oh from Belgian side Genk. The South Korean striker is set to complete a medical ahead of a move from Celtic after just a year and a half.

According to Mail Online’s Stephen McGowan, a deal appears to be nearing completion for Oh whilst the report claims that there’s been no further progress in the pursuit of Adam Idah.

Norwich have stated that they have been in talks with Celtic but are yet to receive a serious offer since the £4.5m bid that would trigger serious conversations about a deal being done. Fans were hopeful when they saw that the Irishman wasn’t involved in the Norwich Matchday squad for their pre season opener against Northampton Town. However, it appears that there is yet to be any further movement on a deal for the striker.

Oh scored 12 goals in 47 appearances but after Idah arrived, it appeared to be that he was out of Brendan’s plans. The fee from the Belgians means that Celtic will net £2m profit.

Elsewhere, Celtic are closing in on deals to sign Kasper Schmeichel and Paulo Bernardo as the manager tries to get bodies in the door before the pre-season tour of the USA.
