Scoring 36 goals after the first quarter of the season, there have been a number of excellent individual strikes and memorable team goals.

While goals have been spread across the pitch, narrowing it down to the best three was a difficult task.

Here are my picks with the selected three goals featured within Celtic TV’s Unique Angle videos so you can enjoy all eleven goals in these three Celtic victories. And we want your help in selecting another two Celtic goals scored this season to give us a top five. Please make yous recommendations in the comments section below.

Here’s my top three…

3rd – Callum McGregor v theRangers

A derby goal to remember. The stunning strike by CalMac combined with the tenacity by Maeda to win the ball back in the final third of the pitch makes the goal. As the skipper rolled the ball into his path, he smashed the ball into the top left hand corner with his favoured left foot. Captain Cal has been on a fine scoring spree this season, and that powerful drive past a helpless Jack Butland made it goal number five against theRangers in his career. One to savour.

2nd – Callum McGregor v Hibs

Possibly the finest strike of his Celtic career to date. Two days after he announced international retirement, McGregor fired a shot high to the goalkeeper’s 30 yards from goal. It left Josef Bursik in the Hibees net with no chance. No goalkeeper in the world (except for Kasper, of course) would have got anywhere near it. Leading by example, it would be the first of four goals in seven league games this season. That one at Easter Road was by far the pick of the bunch.

1st – Adam Idah v St Johnstone

A goal that will be re-watched for seasons to come. Annoyingly ruled out for offside which was then overturned by VAR, Adam Idah did not have the chance to celebrate it properly with his teammates. Three summer signings combined with Luke McCowan’s perfectly weighted pass finding the on-rushing Alex Valle whose exquisite and improvised touch to Idah was finished off with calm and collected finish past the Saints goalkeeper. It was awarded the Scottish Premiership goal of the month accolade for September and will be hard pushed not to win Celtic’s goal of the season award for when the ceremony comes round in May. Hang it in the Louvre.

That’s the top three but if we were to add another two which Celtic goals scored this season would you add to the list?
